If you thrive in a fast-paced environment and take pride in delivering excellence on the road, this is the perfect opportunity for you to accelerate your career!\nDuties\n\u2022 Drive a variety of trucks including refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, tankers, dump trucks, roll-off trucks, and other specialized equipment.\n\u2022 Load and unload cargo using forklift or manual methods, adhering to safety protocols to prevent damage or injury.\n\u2022 Secure freight properly on flatbeds or within refrigerated trailers, ensuring stability during transit.\n\u2022 Manage route driving responsibilities with precision, including planning optimal paths and adhering to delivery schedules.\n\u2022 Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to identify maintenance needs or safety issues.\n\u2022 Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, mileage, cargo details, and delivery documentation in compliance with federal regulations.\n\u2022 Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers regarding delivery times, route adjustments, or issues encountered on the road.\n\u2022 Follow all safety procedures related to driving trucks with tanker loads or hazardous materials when applicable.\n\u2022 Assist in the loading and unloading process when necessary, ensuring proper handling of freight to prevent damage.\nExperience\n\u2022 Valid CDL Class A license with a clean driving record.\n\u2022 Proven experience in commercial driving, including route driving and delivery operations.\n\u2022 Familiarity with operating manual transmission trucks is preferred.\n\u2022 Experience handling various types of freight such as refrigerated goods, flatbed loads, tankers, or specialty equipment like dump trucks and roll-off trucks.\n\u2022 Prior work involving load & unload procedures using forklifts or manual methods is highly desirable.\n\u2022 Knowledge of safety regulations related to trucking operations, including DOT compliance and hazardous material handling if applicable.\n\u2022 Ability to perform detailed vehicle inspections and basic maintenance checks independently.
